There are independent processes and in-line processes, such as DES (Developing, – Etching – Film Stripping) and SES (Film Stripping – Alkaline Etching – Tin Stripping).

Photochemical milling

The photochemical milling process uses chemical products instead of cutting tools to etch forms in metal. It is an inexpensive machining option.
